(12/23/01) Over the past year, there have been several new images added to the image gallery, including one for the new book. The cover is being designed by Everett Rein. The sequel itself has advanced to being approximately one third completed. Samples will appear soon on this website.
(11/14/00) New images in the Everett Rein Gallery. The sequel, A Journey into Darkness, is about 1/5 completed.
(7/30/00) The Lineages section now contains hereditary lines of kings, and the Chronology has been expanded and improved.
(7/20/00) The Everett Rein Gallery now has more illustrations. Also, the Community has a new interview with Kenneth E. Harding-- he describes the "story" of the story!
(6/1/00) The Song of the Sword Community now has active message boards, 4 chapters of Kenneth E. Harding's adaptation of Homer's The Oddessey, and also an essay by Harding on "What is High Fantasy?" You may also submit your own reviews, articles, essays and opinions! In addition, check out the changes in the Image Gallery!
(5/28/00) Added the front cover art of the sequel A Journey into Darkness to the Image Gallery, and the image "Morgundul". The site has won 4 more awards. Also, the fantasy artist Kevin H. Yancey has been contracted to illustrate characters from The Song of the Sword.
(5/25/00) This site has won its first award...check it out on the About page. Also, the book is now available for purchase at BarnesandNoble.com, and Borders.com. What is taking Amazon so long?
(5/18/00) The book is back! The order system at IUniverse is fully operational, and the book may now be ordered. Thanks for your patience. We are looking forward to seeing it at Amazon, Borders and B&N, but the fastest way to get the book will still be through IUniverse.com.
(5/12/00) There is now a Song of the Sword community at IUniverse. This is new right now, but will contain a message board and chat room, newsletter and much more!

(5/9/00) Added many new graphics and improved navigation. Put the Chronology page back up.
(5/7/00) Thanks to suggestions by visitors, we have implemented many changes in layout, fonts and graphics, and we have added a 800x600 version for those who prefer that layout.
(5/2/00) The website graphics have been compressed using HVS JPG technology, thereby reducing image size by 50-80%, and cutting the download time in half. The site is still under major construction, and there is still much information to be added. Check back often.
(5/1/00) Image gallery has been expanded and improved with frames.
(4/29/00) The book is now available from IUniverse.com. By the middle of June it will be available from every major online bookseller (Amazon, Borders, Barnes & Noble) as well as your local bookstore.
