The following passages that are marked by Roman Numerals are sequential and the time between them cannot be guessed. Ea and the Vallad apparently did not concern themselves with the passage of time.

I- Ea creates Overworld from the Void, and he brings into being the Valhallad, the Powers who shape the world.
II- Arvalos is set into the heavens.
III- Gwedlos and Kahädreah are placed upon the surface of the world.
III- Conirube  are set into the world, followed by Gordai.
IV- Gwedlos awakens the Færies who inhabit the Færie Woods.
V- Kahadreah fills the world with the green living things.
VII- Gordai begins the shaping of the World.
VIII- Conirube fashions all the animals and gives them life; Nulmos creates the behemoths of the oceans.
IX- The Trilhad complain of Gordai's dark and hostile lands.
X- The Trilhad uniting rebuild Gordai's creations.
 

The First Era (FE)

1- The Pixies are awakened in the South by Gwedlos. The Calendar of the Sun is created.
251- Pixies colonize Netherwess and the Greenwells.
302- Gordai's original anger, that he alone of his peers brought forth no living creature, grows greater, and he creates the Demons. They inhabit the far North.
310- Gordai begins the building of Demonland.
324- The Pixies fear a Demon assault, and begin delving a cavern in the center of Founder's Mountain to hide their wealth.
449- The building of Demonland is completed. The watching of the North begins.
506- Founder's Mountain is completed.
999- The Thousand Year Peace begins.
1800- The realm of the Pixies reaches its greatest size and height of prosperity.
1988- The Thousand Year Peace ends; the Demons pour from the North, the first of the Great Battles ensues. The pixies flee Netherwess. Most of the treasures of the Pixies are sealed in Founder's Mountain. Netherwess is besieged for hundreds of years.
1990- The Great Sword of the Eternal Flame is forged by Ea and is given to Conirube for keeping. It is meant for use by the Blue King to combat the Demons.
2000- After being delayed by Ea, the descendant of the Blue King leads his kin and the Pixie army north. The Demons are defeated. The Sword is put with the treasure in Founder's Mountain. The Blue King decides to leave the treasure where it is safe. The pixies do not dwell in Netherwess.
2001- The awakening of the Elves in Meldol in Elandor by Gwedlos.
2013- The Vanuäré, the shipbuilders, cross the Sea (Tin-Rosuíal-Vallin), and land at the Mouths of Isilnen. They follow the river north. Conirube comes to Founder's Mountain.
2016- The Noliäré cross the Sea and dwell in Aneldimar.
2021- Elves journey into the North where they found several kingdoms over many years. The land comes to be known as the Land of White Towers (Dor Nimberaëd).
2045- Kahadreah awakens the Dwarves in the Lone Lands. Among them is Haldin the Ageless, High King of the Dwarves. His is the longest life ever recorded among the Dwarves. The Rhûndic (Dwarf runes) is created and kept secret.
2090- About this time the Elves begin to craft weapons for the first time.
2102- The Dwarves journey northward. They inhabit the Misty Falls in Beechwood, with Haldin as their king.
2231- At the request of Conirube, Dwarves led by Haldin the Ageless delve halls beneath Founder's Mountain and dwell there. They are named the Mountain Dwellers. Beechwood is ruled by Naldin the First.
2301- Gwedlos awakens the first twelve men, incorrectly reading the Will of Ea, fully-formed and immortal.
2349- Fíendor proclaims that he and the other Men are the "Princes of the World." Gordoth attempts to befriend Fíendor, but is rejected.
2565- Gwedlos initiates the Second Coming of Man, this time correctly, as mortals. They are still few in number. He calls upon the Princes of the World to surrender their immortality and choose death. Only some, apparently weary of life, comply.
2605- The Great Crossing of Men to the North. Those Men (the Houses of Hador and Vildor) who wish no dealings with the Princes of the World fled into Dor-Nimberaëd and sought friendship with the Elves there.
2675- Glor-endol is born. Islébeorl is slain by an assassin, most likely Gordoth. The Princes of the World dominate mortal Men, and their power grows. They travel north into Dor-Nimbaraed.
2733- The building of Hentei Annuin, the South Watchtower, is begun by Gilraën.
2760- Fíendor declares war on the Trillad and the Elves, and he also challenges the power of the Demons.
2812- Completion of Hentei Annuin.
2863- Death of Fíendor. Gordoth declares himself as the new King, but no one heeds him.
2900- About this time, the Great Sea Beast first appears. The assaults upon Dor-Nimberaëd begin.
2998- Downfall of Dor-Nimberaëd, brought on by Demons and dragons. The Princes of the World, with many Men, flee from the North and pass into the lands above Eongirth. They are attacked by the men who live there, whom they destroy.
2999- Conirube brings the Sword of Blue King to the temple of Crimsonhade.

The First Era Ends

 

The Second Era (SE)

2- Birth of Dol-Éndar.
5- Birth of Foloin Ironheart in Founder's Mountain.
14- Delving of Bantalum begins.
99- Naërdum-Noegolôdh, the Great Opal Ring, is wrought by Glorin the Great Wright.
139- Gelros is born.
148- The Elves give a great magical seed to Beregil, a noble and distinguished Man, for his allegiance.
149- Beregil plants the Great Elm.
156- Beregil founds a city around the Great Sapling Elm.
157- Fearing he cannot rule a city by himself, Beregil forms the Alcaldi, a council of wise and noble men to rule the city.
168- Seeds from the Great Elm are used to create a wall of trees around Elmhome.
171- Birth of Hol-íthil.
233- Birth of Bethil his sister in Aneldimar.
235- Gordoth attempts to lay siege to Faërie. As this act was futile, he redirects his attack on Lanairao, but is flanked by Aneldimar. The Men are strongly defeated by Earbëorl and the Elves, and Gordoth flees Northward until he reaches Dor-Nimberaëd, and hides there nursing his wounds.
335- The Alcaldi are split in a decision whether or not to build the Elmfleet. Birth of Lothien in Aneldimar. The Battle of the Far Seas.
338- The Demon Fleet first appears on the Eongirth.
339- Del-hittite comes to the Alcaldi and convinces them to begin building the Elmfleet.
340- The Demons begin the Siege of Eongirth, led by Toron.
344- The Completion of the Elmfleet. The Battle on Eongirth.
346- The Demon Fleet is destroyed.
361- Some of the ships are disassembled and the lumber is used to build many houses and buildings-- what will later be called Turandor, and it is ruled by the Alcaldi.
370- The sundering of the Demons takes place.
488- The birth of Boin.
524- The birth of Luthil in Aneldimar.
945- Peacetime continues; completion of Baleagerung. Haldin the Ageless becomes its first king. Norin I takes the crown of Founders' Mountain.
995- Birth of Deltaphine.
1372- Nimphíel, with Elves of the south, founds Amaris above Westwood.
2116- Toron is driven from the Middle-lands by Foloin Ironheart the renowned, who entered his dark stronghold.
2220- Haldin counsels Boin that he should wed soon, or the line of Haldin will fail. Boin says he will have none but Bethil.
2500- The Demons increase at an alarming rate.

The Second Era Ends

 

The Third Era (TE)

3- Birth of Hol-íthic, son of Hol-íthil.
395- The formation of the Legion (parlimentary council) in Netherwess, such as in Elmhome.
399- Boin sees Bethil for the first time, and he falls in love with her, but is not allowed to speak to her.
400- About this time, Toron returns, this time as Sane-in. He tries to seduce the Alcaldi, but is unsuccessful. Boin tries for the first time to see Bethil. He does not succeed.
401- Boin continues to attempt to see Bethil, and finally succeeds. He goes to her and asks for her hand.
402- Sane-in succeeds in controlling the Legion of Netherwess, and they prepare an armament. He tells them that the wealth that the Elves have taken in greed is partly theirs. Sane-in commands his servants to search out the lands and locate the Sapphire of Nacazinar (Silentil)
403- The courtship of Bethil and Boin has continued, and Luthil and Hol-ithil forbid it.
404- The Sapphire is found, and it is commanded that it be delivered to the Island in the Sky,but it is stolen from the courriers by Boin. He brings it to Luthil and Hol-ithil. Men of Netherwess, under the direction of Sane-in, attack Aneldimar. They gain little, and call upon the Elves to meet them on the Great Plains for a parley. Hol-ithil takes the Sapphire and seeks to undo Sane-in, but he never returned and his fate is unknown. During the battle, Conirube exposes the treachery of Sane-in, and the evil deeds of the Men. The battle is halted. Sane-in succeeds in putting the Sapphire onto the Island in the Sky. Click HERE
405- Bethil and Boin flee north and dwell in the Echor-ephel.
406- The Legion is abolished. Hol-íthic, Hol-íthil's son, goes to Foloin Ironheart, Boin's father, and demands the weregilds owed to him, but receives nothing. The sundering of the Three Kindreds, Elves Dwarves and Men, has become complete.
496- Birth of Fain II
521- Birth of Morin the Fair.
557- Death of Boin.
558- Death of Bethil. Fain returns to Founders' Mountain, but he has been so long removed that he cannot think of the crown.
590- Morin slays himself.
800- The Alcaldi reach the noontide of their power, and Men flourish througout Overworld.
821- Birth of Lothlendar in Aneldimar.
1500- Around this time, shifts in the mantle rock in Overworld cause the Stoneroot Mountains (and therefore Baleagerung) to sink into the Eongirth Sea. It is slow at first.
1642- Death of Haldin the Ageless. The lower halls are flooded, and then sealed by Haldin's Door. The Dwarves continue to live in the upper halls, although many flee to Founders' Mountain and the Grim Mountain. Foloin Ironheart, Boin's father, commands Baleagerung.
1700- Dwarves continue to flee, and the Demons take notice.
1706- Baleagerung is invaded by a large host of Demons and throgs. Foloin is slain, and all the remaining Dwarves depart or are killed. It is now called the Stronghold. There is an uneasy peace for a long while.
2000- About this time, Whistler first comes to the Great Plains.
2434- Fain son of Boin is uneasy; his thoughts travel to Baleagerung. He wishes still to be a king.
2459- Fain departs to the Stronghold with a few companions. He and his company are never heard from again.
 

The Third Era Ends

 

The Fourth Era (FO)

151- The death of Lothien.
1688- Battle of the Grim Mountain; the Dwarves are defeated.
1750- The crafting of Elmsword in Elmhome.
1760- Doubt and unrest grows in the South. First appearance of the Renegades.
1788- Birth of Eorbish, most famous leader of the Renegades.
1812- Civil War in Elmhome. The Alcaldi are disbanded, and many of them and their families travel northward, and their lineage remains pure.
1814- Turandor is founded, with Eorbish as their first King.
2047- The House of Hëolin begins in Netherwess from the exiled Alcaldi. Heolin unites the separate provinces under one rule.
2766- The Dwarves assault the Grim Mountain and retake it.
2871- Battle of Whorid's Keep.

The Fourth Era Ends

 

The Fifth Era (FI)

182- Building of the Tower of Tir Narindor is begun.
204- Tir Narindor is completed.
1493- Birth of Saneran in Netherwess.
1532- Saneran introduces his ideas about society.
1536- Saneran tries to impliment his ideas, and speaks of conquering other lands. The people reject him. He utters 'The Oath of Saneran' (that he and his sons, Sanetelchi and Virsane, should die in exile if his ideas are not brought into being).
1546- The Oath of Saneran is fulfilled; the first line of the House of Hëolin is ended. The second line begins with Tar-Dantevari.
1846- Birth of Goldenfield in Aneldimar.
2012- Birth of Persephere his sister.
2195- First of the Drywell Wars.
2111- After perceiving that his son is in grave danger, Ilhendur sends Daghoril with protectors northward to the lands above the Silverill.
2112- Last of the Drywell Wars. Death of Ilhendur. Click HERE for that story.
2740- Persephere agrees to take up residence in Amaris, and assumes the household from Nimphiel.
